Looking after your rims
Cleaning your rims need not be a time consuming chore. Follow these easy steps to make sure your rims are in great order:
1) First fill a cleaning bucket with water and add cleaning agent (read directions for amount to use), see below for specialized rim cleaner and protector;
2) Spray rim/tires in a circular motion with a hose and make sure they are completely soaked through, making sure to remove as much brake dust and road dirt as possible;
3) Make sure cleaning rag is thoroughly soaked with cleaning agent and begin washing tire at the top and completely go around whole tire, then start cleaning rim from top working around in clockwise direction;
4) Once done cleaning with rag use a brush (a paintbrush works well) to get at areas/small crevices that you could not reach with rag; and
5) Spray the rim in circular motion following the outside of the rim and rinse the tire. Once done use towel to completely dry both rim and tire and add additional product to tire for finishing shine.
